spotmarkza is a United Kingdom training academy specialising in live production decks and control rooms. We teach multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation, and the professional management of television and streaming productions.

Our story
spotmarkza was founded in 2016 by a small team of vision mixers and technical directors who were frustrated that control room skills in the UK were only ever passed on informally, through years of unpaid runner work. We hired our first gallery, borrowed a switcher, and started teaching what we actually did for a living.
A decade on, we run training facilities across England, work with production companies on bespoke crew development, and have trained more than 1,200 broadcast professionals now working in live sport, entertainment, news, and streaming across the United Kingdom.
